Dpsm1 StarThe man who was driving truck 578 on 1/28 has anger issues. The guy wouldn’t let me merge and decides to brake check me. I’m just imagining how he treats his customers. This is a bad way to represent who you work for.Tuesday 28th January 2025
Winds of March Journey/Perry tribute band1 StarI was driving recently and one of your drivers was driving extremely obnoxiously in your van. Tailgating, speeding, unnecessary and illegal lane changes, you name it. I suggest you use trackers to see what your drivers are doing w your vehicles you're liable for because, "Let the master answer." (Legal term meaning YOU get sued for THEIR actions).
We had a near miss and if I wasn't as good a driver as I am (100% clean record, driving twice the time your driver's been alive), the 3rd vehicle would have caused an accident by making an illegal turn and your driver would have hit ME. And I have many lawyer friends with Land Rovers and 100+k kitchens, so they obviously win a lot. This was a young Hispanic male, dark hair, medium to small build. No more than 25 years old.
Point is, there was no reason to rush because there's a ton of traffic on that stretch and 2, being an obvious idiot saves you NOTHING, (time-wise) for short hops you'd usually make. And because you'll be stuck again very soon, anyway. You save NOTHING. Any map app would prove that.
I suggest you get right on those dash cams and driving trackers, because it was REALLY close that I'd be sueing you. I'd highly suggest drug/alcohol drops, too, if they're driving YOUR vehicles. I wouldn't hesitate to put in breathalyzers on the ignitions. The only way driving foolishly during rush hour in particular makes sense (most likely time to have an accident) is if you're on drugs or drunk.
If they're too young or too stupid to be a respectful driver, I DEFINITELY wouldn't hire them or your company to do any work for me on my buildings. That's generally not a person who's going to care enough to do a good job the safest and best way.
Please note, when people have a bad experience, they ALWAYS remember, and they OFTEN go tell 10 other people not to do business with you. "How to win customers and keep them for life." (Book)
Also, obviously, anyone with negatives on your company or its representatives, will go right online and write it up.Saturday 24th February 2024
Patrick1 StarLacking honesty and integrity.
One of their employees damaged my vehicle in a downtown Chicago parking lot. When I confronted him, he denied it and refused to pay for repairs to fix the dent. I filed a inquiry with Midwest Mechanical on their website (twice), and was ignored twice.
If this company hires people that behave like this in society, I can only imagine they will extend this dishonest work ethic to their mechanical work on your building. If they ignore requests to resolve a problem, I'd imagine they will ignore resolving mechanical issues on their work.
With so many companies to choose from when hiring for your job, I'd pass on Midwest Mechanical and hire the next guy for your HVAC/Mechanical building needs.Friday 7th June 2024
Damian de Gannes1 StarGreat at coming out for emergencies, poor at actually correcting what went wrong so that it does not happen again.
They always ‘fix’ things but need a part. Which has to be expedited but cannot provide an ETA.Monday 24th June 2024
Daniel Nurczyk5 StarHonestly I can say this is the best commercial HVAC company I have had the pleasure of working with. Tom, Alex and Jason are great guys to work with and they're incredibly knowledgeable and very responsive. Even in the winter you can rely on them to fix your cooling issues. The issue is normally resolved or correctly identified the first time out. They run out to pick parts up and fix the issue typically the same day. When you do need someone to follow up you pick up the phone and call them directly and get an answer by the third ring. I would recommend anyone to go with Midwest prior to having headaches with other companies, you won't be disappointed.Monday 4th January 2021
